                                                     30th Anniversary Celebration in 2014

The Hardy Plant Club of Northern Vermont is an informal group of plant enthusiasts that was founded in 1984. We meet monthly, January to October, to visit gardens, take botanical excursions and attend lectures and slide shows on botanical and horticultural topics. Our focus is on hardy ornamental plants and on native plants and the habitats in which they grow. We have about 200 members.
We publish a quarterly newsletter that contains articles on various plant-related topics as well as a schedule of events. We also have an Email List-serve to communicate with members about upcoming events and issues.
We have a plant sale in late summer at some interesting locale in northern Vermont with a wide variety of plants donated by our members and local nurseries. The proceeds of the sale go toward speaker fees and hall rentals, etc.
We hold an annual meeting/potluck in October to review the year, to discuss future programs and to fill the positions of newsletter editor,  membership secretary, treasurer and program committee.

Membership is $10.00 per year.  To join email Robin at: hardyplantclubvt@gmail.com
