Marshfield Garden Tour 2016


Programs for 2017

January: Wildflowers of the Grand Tetons.  Picture presentation by Sarah Salatino, owner of Full
Circle Gardens - a perennials nursery in Essex, VT.  Saturday, 1/28 at 1:30 pm, in the Hayes Room at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, 135 Main Street, Montpelier, VT.  Open to the public.

February: Invasive Earthworms in our Gardens.  Talk by UVM soil scientist Prof. Josef Gorres.
Saturday, 2/25, 1:30 pm at the Unitarian Church, 130 Main St., Montpelier, VT.  Open to the public.

March: Gardens of Gertrude Jekyll.  Illustrated talk by Suzanne Dworsky, landscape architect and photographer.  Saturday, 3/25, 1:30 pm.  Hayes Room, Kellogg-Hubbard Library, 135 Main Street,
Montpelier, VT.  Open to the public.

June: visits to wholesale flower farm, and retail greenhouse.  Roxbury, VT

July: Garden tour in Johnson/Hyde Park, VT 

August: Botanical outing via boat on the Winooski River.

August: Plant and Book Sale.

September: Guided tour of Shelburne Farms.

September: Botanical outing to White River Ledges Natural Area.

October: Annual Meeting with guest speaker.
